Main achievements to date

  • 2014: Rhys was selected to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow as and Great Britain at the IPC Athletics European Championships in Swansea.
  • 2013:   He was selected to represent Great Britain once again at the IPC World Championships in Lyon, France. Here he came 7 th in the 100m and 8 th in the 200m sprints.
  • 2012: After only 3 years of taking part competitively, Rhys was selected to represent Great Britain for the first time at the London 2012 Paralympics and become a British Paralympic sprinter.

    As my first Paralympic Games, I’m proud of my achievements, only just missing out on the 100m sprint final and coming 8th in the 200m sprint.
